TITUS-GLOVER ENSTOOLED AKUAPEM MAMPONG ASOMKAHENE
In July 2017, the Chiefs, Elders and People of Akuapem Mampong, in the Eastern of Ghana through the APESEMANKAHENE (friend of Hon, Titus-Glover) adopted Hon. Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover (MP, Tema East and Deputy Minister of Transport) as a son of the cocoa soil in Ghana. This was graced and witnessed by past and present government officials, traditional rulers from Tema and beyond as well as political party executives from both the NPP and NDC in the Tema East Constituency. Hon. Titus-Glover was named NANA OTU ANSAH.
Two years, two months after the adoption ceremony, Ebusuapayin Yaw Kwakye of Akuapem Mampong presented NANA OTU ANSAH (Hon.Titus-Glover) to the Traditional Council of the area to be enstooled the ASOMKAHENE of the area.
This colourful event took place yesterday at the Akuapem Mampong Palace. It was graced and witnessed by people from all walks of life. Hon. Dennis Aboagye (Municipal Chief Executive), Traditional rulers from Tema, Kwashieman, Odorkor and other areas graced the occasion.
Nana Otu Ansah (Titus-Glover) swore an oath of allegiance to Nana Otu Darteh (Chief of Akuapem Mampong) and his elders as well as the people of the area to extend his commitment and dedication in serving the good people of Tema, Sankana and the entire nation to them as well.
